Xiomara's Testimony

I have a confession to make, when Xio told me that she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and seeking alternative treatment rather than traditional, I thought, “She can’t be serious”! I immediately went into Nurse Practitioner mode: She was cachectic, short of breath, requiring bi-weekly paracentesis, suffered a DVT, and punctured liver! Through the lens of my 20-year medical career, her mortality rate was high. I wondered how long she could last. Days? Weeks? Months? With each increasing day her body seemed to waste way. Her voice was down to a whisper. However,

her faith was as strong as a Category 5 Hurricane! She simply believed God. If the 11th chapter of Hebrews were written today, it would read…. And by faith Xiomara overcame cancer. Enjoy this wonderful testimony of how our God is still working miracles!
